The battery-electric equivalent of the fuel log book. Log every charge — home wall box, public AC, public DC fast charger — and AutoBrain calculates your $/100 km, kWh / 100 km efficiency and per-charge cost. The same ATO-compatible export engine your fuel log book already uses, so your tax-deductible charge sessions (think work use of a company EV) are exportable the same way.
Plug-in hybrids get the best of both. The new vehicle powertrain enum adds EV / HEV / PHEV / ICE as a per-vehicle setting, so a PHEV owner sees a single combined dashboard: petrol fill-ups, charge sessions, real-world electric-vs-petrol split, and the same per-km cost tracking you already get for pure ICE. PHEV owners keep the existing fuel-tracking code path and gain the new charge tracking alongside it.
