The Issues Blog is live: real help from real owners

AutoBrain Team · 16 August 2026 · Announcements

Overheating in traffic. A shudder taking off in first. A clutch pedal that sticks halfway down. Every car owner knows the feeling of a new problem and no idea who to ask. The Issues Blog is live in Community Garage — a blog-style help board where you post the problem and get answers from owners who've been there.

What the Issues Blog is

Community Garage already lets owners share builds, photos and mod lists. The Issues Blog adds the other half of the garage conversation: help. It sits alongside the feed as a third tab — a searchable board of car problems, each one a thread with a title, your vehicle's context, and answers from other owners.

Post your problem, with your car's context

Describe the issue the way you'd tell a mate — "rough idle and stalling on cold start", "turbo smoking after a track day". The compose screen attaches a snapshot of the vehicle you're asking about (make, model, year), so answerers aren't guessing what you drive, and you can add up to four photos to show, not just tell.

A searchable archive

Problems get auto-tagged and filed into a browseable archive with keyword search and status filters. Every post carries an Open, Answered or Resolved badge. Before you post, search — the fix someone else already found might be yours too.

Answers from real owners, not a chatbot

The Issues Blog is deliberately not an AI Q&A. Answers come from people who've actually driven the same problems — and when a fix works, the poster marks the answer and the thread resolves with that answer pinned, so the next owner lands straight on what worked.

  • Threaded comments. Ask follow-ups, share what you tried, mark the reply that fixed it.
  • Photo replies. Show how the part looks or where the fix went.
  • Deterministic, not guessed. Tagging, search and moderation run without AI — the answers are human, the plumbing is dependable.
  • Your posts, in one place. A "My Issues" tab shows every problem you've posted.

Moderated like the garage it lives in

The Issues Blog is opt-in and privacy-first, like the rest of Community Garage: your posts stay in your instance's database, and you choose what's shared. Reports, an admin moderation hub and rate limits keep the board useful.

A premium feature

Like the rest of Community Garage, the Issues Blog is part of AutoBrain's paid plans. It ships with the premium entitlement already enforced server-side, and there are no surprises about who can ask — or answer.

Live now on AutoBrain-hosted

The Issues Blog has passed its QA and security gates and is live in Community Garage on AutoBrain-hosted — post a problem, search past issues and get answers from owners who've been there. If you'd like a feel for it first, the live demo has a seeded Issues Blog — browse real posts, replies and resolved threads. It's part of Community Garage, so it's included with your hosted plan.
